WORKSHOP 1: Developing a Secure and Affordable Gas Market

Europe’s future energy security will be greatly enhanced by a robust, efficient and competitive gas system. This workshop discusses the challenges and risks faced in developing a secure and affordable European gas market (natural gas and LNG), including an independent and objective assessment of macroeconomic and policy developments, identification of forward prices and supply risk scenarios prevalent to Europe, and the use of case studies and modeling tools to propose risk management solutions.
