Visiting Paris - the City of Lights

Paris, France's capital, is a major European city and a global centre for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture. Known as the City of Lights, Paris's stunning 19th-century cityscape features wide boulevards and the River Seine plus such famous landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and the 12th-century, Gothic Notre-Dame cathedral.

Visiting Paris in November allows you to take in the indoor sights and attractions including the city's many extraordinary museums, arthouse movie theatres, as well as  churches and cathedrals and cafes.

With less tourists in Paris around November, expect shorter lines and less crowded museums and restaurants plus your chances of getting great deals on airfares and hotels are much higher at this time of year.
